Okiura Fishery was established by Mr. Okiura, Renju Okiura's father, believed to be a distribution company for seafood fresh from the sea. One of its main establishments was the Okiura Fishery Cold Storage Warehouse, a warehouse located in the Harbor Warehouse District, where transported seafood could be stored in a temperature-controlled warehouse.
In 2002, when Mr. Okiura passed away, his son Renju transferred all rights and ownerships to the company's board of directors, wherein all ties to the original Okiura family were cut. In exchange, the Cold Storage Warehouse was given to Renju to manage by himself, only retaining basic ownership and access to their internet service. In 2019, their Cold Storage Warehouse was used as the stage for an attempted murder in the Cyclops Serial Killings case.
